Home Education Answering the Call A mother journey at home with her children edition by Jennifer Postak Wilson SelfHelp eBooks Reviews

  • Just finished the book, 5 stars easy!!! Absolutely loved it and found it encouraging helpful and inspirational. For some of us this is easier said than done. I felt “the call” as well but it took me a couple of years to have the courage to do it. I wish I had read this book back then!!
Having just pulled my own daughter out of public school this year, and seeing a great deal of improvement in all aspects of her life, I’m kicking myself for not doing it sooner!!!

I highly recommend that you read this even if you don’t want to homeschool, because she offers great insight and resources and examples on how to encourage your children to love to learn, and help them discover what their own mission in life is.
  • Great read for those who may be thinking of homeschooling, or for the homeschooling mom that needs some inspiration & a little guidance. It really gets you thinking deeply about our purpose in this life & the way we are educating our children! I really appreciate the list of books the author recommends at the end to help further your journey! This was a quick read, but was still powerful & spiritually uplifting for sure!
  • This is such a great first book for christian moms feeling called to home educate their kids and don't have the support or direction to do it. You'll find it here! I feel inspired from her questions and excited to utilize the resources she mentions!
  • This book is inspiring! I’ve learned so much and am eager to finish reading it.
  • This book is also for families who have their children in public or private schools! Good parents are interested in teaching their children how to become responsible adults who know who they are and what they should accomplish in this life. This book helps guide us in that direction. There is also a forward by Joyce Kinmont who is the LDS grandmother of homeschooling!
