The Designing Your Life Workbook A Framework for Building a Life You Can Thrive In Bill Burnett Dave Evans 9781524761813 Books Reviews

  • I got this workbook at the recommendation of a professor - he wanted us to read the accompanying book but I am a kinesthetic learner and wanted to review this tool before recommending it to my clients. Wow! It's a great exercise in "designing" your life rather than just letting it happen. I'm mid-life and starting a new career that I find incredibly fulfilling, so I'm using this to design the extracurricular parts of my life to fit my work - and I've already learned a lot.
  • I love the idea of this book and putting a lot of different idea forward. However, I realized I was putting more effort into completing the activities and brainstorming than actually living life and jumping in. I know what I want to do, I was just having trouble starting and this workbook was not getting me any closer to cljumpubg in. Eventually I just handed the book over to a friend.
  • GREAT addition to the book which has so many great ways to apply design thinking to your life so you can figure out what to do when you grow up- or just what to do next... Buy both book and workbook!
  • Read the book first and follow up with the workbook
  • Very beautiful with plastic see-through hardcover and an elastic band (pleasant surprise!) to keep it closed or you can use it at the page you are at.
  • I have been using this with the book as 'textbooks' for a class I am taking at college. It has been really helpful. I would recommend.
  • A wonderful support to the book. If only we address this in middle school!
  • highly recommended
