  • The author gave very good, basic information about the Keto diet. This is a good book for those just beginning the keto journey and need a starting point.

    There were some issues with the flow, grammar and structure. One part that comes to mind, "you can eat as much fat as you want just don't eat in excess". Then one moment she is describing how Asian food isn't the best, jumps to another paragraph about pizza and the next paragraph is about Asian food again. This particular chapter was about eating out at restaurants and then she decided to discuss snacks too. The flow was eractic in some parts and repetitive in others. I'm not sure this was book was properly edited.

    I wouldn't take her words to heart and would check out a book by a more credible author.
  • I liked this book a lot. As someone who had never really understood what a ketogenic diet was, this was a great start! I also bought The Everyday Ketogenic Kitchen because it had a lot more recipes that I'd use day to day. I am happy with both books. They both have different things in them and contribute to understanding and being able to successfully implement this new way of eating. I've lost 4 pounds already! I'm only two weeks in. This book has recommendations for macros calculators, macros trackers and a few Facebook groups so it's pretty up to date with how we eat, and live currently.

The outcome was extremely delicate meat that was mixed with the teriyaki enhance amid the cooking procedure.
